Mullens February 7, 1859, Mullens platted the Mullens Addition first improvement was a blacksmith shop, erected by D. R. Bartlett; other additions included two stores, a school, and two churches the growth of the town suffered because of the construction of the Chicago, Burlington & Kansas City Railroad |
