Lieuts. C. E. McKinley, St. Joseph and A. O. Dokken, Long Beach, Killed. Two soldiers, Lieut. Charles E. McKinley, St. Joseph, and Lieut. Albert O. Dokken, Long Beach, Calif., were killed in a crash on a muddy farm road near Mandeville, 18 miles northwest of Carrollton last night. The accident occurred at about 8 o'clock in the midst of a deluge of rain which was acompanied by a high wind. It is believed the crash came when the flyers were attempting a forced landing on a narrow farm road. The bodies were taken to Tina. |
